The Swing is a Jean-Honore Fragonard oil painting. Fragonard was a famous French painter from the Rococo art movement. Fragonard paintings received many awards throughout the 18th century including the Prix de Rome. Fragonard spent time at any early age with Francois Boucher after showing some great ability in painting which needed further development and study to make the best of his potential.
