Eliezer and Rebecca is a Nicolas Poussin oil painting. Nicolas Poussin was a famous French artist who spent much of his time painting in Italy. Poussin's paintings came during the Baroque period of the 17th century but his style was different to that norm. Many artists are believed to have been influenced, to different extents, by Poussin paintings include Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Jean Hugo, Benjamin West, Jacques-Louis David and Paul Cezanne.
